One of the many challenges children on the spectrum face is dental care. It implicates a number of sensory issues, not to mention the behavioral and emotional challenges associated with the “traditional” dental visit. We want to help autism families find regular dental care and establish good dental hygiene habits and routines. You’re invited to visit a dental office staffed with dentists, hygienists, and assistants to look, explore, and ask questions (baby teeth, permanent teeth, crowding, diet, drinks, what to do in case of emergency).
