Putting on Our Brave Hats

Wish us luck! We are headed on our first big outing as a family to six!

We are headed to Wisconsin to celebrate my nephew’s graduation. Cooper has never been to a graduation party before and is very excited. He’s been ready to go since 8 am and keeps playing a Barney episode on his iPad about visiting Grandma.

It’s pretty sweet.

Just a short time ago we would have never been able to go to a party like this but Cooper is doing so great and wants to go so we are putting on our brave hats and giving it our all! And as I always say…he deserves to experience the world and the world deserves to experience him.

No hiding for us.

Finding Cooper’s Voice is a safe, humorous, caring and honest place where you can celebrate the unique challenges of parenting a special needs child. Because you’re never alone in the struggles you face. And once you find your people, your allies, your village….all the challenges and struggles will seem just a little bit easier. Welcome to our journey. You can also follow us on Facebook, subscribe for exclusive videos, and subscribe to our newsletter.
