Kid’s Draw the Darndest Things…Get Ready to Laugh

crayons-coloring-book-coloring-book-159579

You know that old saying…kids say the darndest things? Well, sometimes they draw them too.

Last night, I opened up my son’s backpack to pull out his work from the day.

And found this gem. I immediately burst out laughing.

He is in Kindergarten and I love to see what he brings home.

I gathered my composure and asked him to tell me about his drawing.

His response, ‘It’s obviously a beach tower mom.’

Which I responded with, ‘Obviously.’

I found my husband and said, ‘I may have the maturity of a teenage boy but what does this look like to you?’

He of course burst out laughing.

Because this winter is so long and it feels like so many of us our burnt out, I shared this beautiful drawing with my subscriber group.

And because they are awesome, here are a few of the gems they shared back.

Enjoy.

Caption: I still remember when my kindergartener came home with this “cannon.”

Caption: What a cute….dog?

Caption:  Here’s a cute pic my daughter drew at 6. I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s of course SUPPOSED to say I love my ‘house.’

Caption: My daughter drew Dino “bones” the other day.
