Kate Swenson
Kate Swenson lives in Minnesota with her husband Jamie, and four children, Cooper, Sawyer, Harbor and Wynnie. Kate launched Finding Cooper's Voice from her couch while her now 11-year-old son Cooper was being diagnosed with autism. Back then it was a place to write. Today it is a living, thriving community of people who want to not only advocate for autism, but also make the world a better place for individuals with disabilities and their families. Her first book, Forever Boy, will be released, April 5, 2022.
Our son started a new school today too! You sound like you two are great parents! I love that last picture of your husband and son – my husband does stuff like that all the time too!
I just saw your comments! How is your son doing in school? I will check out your blog right now.
So far, our experience has been phenomenal! We are already seeing behavioral improvements!
He’s going to have such a wonderful time. Glad you made the decision to do this:)
Y’all survived the move… I have a strong feeling y’all will survive this, too. Of course, I’d be a nervous nelly that first day… okay, the first week! 🙂
Go get ’em Copper! Thinking of you all x
I think about you a lot too!
