Find People That Understand. It Will Help You More Than You Know.
I can’t say enough how much blogging has helped me with my Super Cooper journey. Honestly, I can’t even put it into words. But what I can say is there are some pretty amazing people out there.
I have to thank Life in the Autism Lane, for her absolutely breathtaking post this morning. She gets it. She gets me and she gets Cooper. And we haven’t even met. Just knowing that she is out there means so much. Click HERE to read her post about her son. It’s powerful and honest and beautiful.
My husband actually read this part out loud:
“If you hold on to this thought process, continue grieving for a future that’s not yet even happened, you will miss everything wonderful that does happen ‘in the now’.”
I’m really glad that I’m able to share my experiences with people, it’s so easy to get bogged down in your own troubles and I’ve found that reaching out to others in similar situations helps to assuage my fears and feelings.
Much love, stay strong missus 🙂 xxx
That is really good advice. Cooper is so loved.I see from you both all time. With all this love he will comtinue to learn and grow.
Thanks Diane! I couldn’t agree more. Cooper is the most loved child in the world!
copy, paste, print, post!
